A brief summary of the career of the band...

0.-1995.
The drummer of Sex Action decides to form a rap group with his friends and chooses the stage-name Ganxta Zolee as the frontman of the band, and he gives the name Kartel for the band.
With their unusual lyrics and performance they shock the Hungarian pop audience.These songs includes "Boom a fejbe" and "Figyeld magad" and the other shocking detail is that their producer and songwriter is Pierrot who is best known of his romantic and lirycist songs.The group debut album is egyenesen a Gettóból.

1.-1996.
The band comes up with an unusual EP Fehér hó which is the first territorial release and includes the jungle (drum'n'bass) genre.

2.-1997.
Their second album(Jégre teszlek) meant the breakthrough for them with such hits like Keleti oldal-Nyugati oldal, Rossz vér, nincs semmi jobb mint egy ringyó,Fekete ló.
This year they start their first territorial tour.

3.-1998.
The crative"brotherhod" releases their newest EP Argentin Tangó with such hits like A Szerb határ felé and Kezek a tarkón-this appears in a movie directed by Jancsó Miklós.

4.-1999.
The year of Nagy Bumm. The new record entitled Helldorado becomes the best selling album nationwide.Dopman joins the band and the single A jó a rossz és a Kartel is a sucess spending several weeks in the top ten on the charts.

5.-2000.
Director SasTamás asks the band to write a song for his new movie Rosszfiúk. With the same title they release their next record featuring some instrumental songs and new hits like Néhány jó dolog or Vato Loco (the clip was shot in Mexico).

6.-2001.
Keeping up with the success they change their publisher to Private Moon Records. Their first record together is Pokoli lecke on whitch they worked together with Deák Bill Gyula, Tátrai Tibor,Póka Egon,Ferenczi György és a Sex Action. On the cover of the album and in the first video clip of the of the album(Döglégy for Prezident) appear as animated cartoon heroes.

7.-2002.
In this year their new song H-O-K-I is named the Anthem of the Hungarian Ice Hockey Association.Their new album is released without Dopemen who leaves the group because of irreconcilable differences. The next album in the row is Gyilkosság Rt. with the band's newest image as gangsters with hits like Szesztilalom or Vannak percek.

8.-2003.
They make a new version of Boom a fejbe and the they releases their fiirst Best of album with the greatest songs including a new one entitled A legnagyobb pofon.

9.-2004
Their new studio album is Szabad a gazda with the title song Route 66 with Nagy Edmond who appeard in Megasztár which is a singing competition. The song becomes the most requested song in the radios and on television.

10.-2005
Ganxta Zolee és a Kartel decides to celebrate the band's 10th anniversary with a concert album featuring their greatest and biggest hit songs. This is their "X' album featuring the "Fénzes ösvény" band with Markó Ádám,Gajdacsi Gábor,Vörös Gábor, Cséry Zoltán,Nagy Edmond,Pfeffer 'Pepe' Gábor(Billy Zone),and Ragadic ' Raga' Csaba(Machine Mouse).

Though Ganxta Döglégy Zolee, BigDaddy Laci,Steve and OJ Sámson decided to take some time off, but they are ready to recharge their batteries any time for the next decade.
